Natus Sensory Inc. in Gort, Co. Galway is seeking a Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in a modern healthcare technology setting. You will operate CNC and automated manufacturing equipment, perform routine machine checks, and support assembly and packaging of medical products.

The role includes a fixed 3-week rotating shift cycle (days and nights) with no weekend work, and a competitive salary plus benefits such as pension, health insurance, and training opportunities.

Production Operative

Location: Gort, Co. Galway
Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent, On-Site

Shift Pattern: 3-Week Rotating Shift Cycle (No Weekend Work)

This role operates on a fixed 3-week rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: 3 × 12.5-hour day shifts (6:00am - 6:30pm)
• Week 2: 4 × 12.5-hour night shifts (6:00pm - 6:30am)
• Week 3: 2 × 12.5-hour day shifts (6:00am - 6:30pm)

One of the unique benefits of this roster is that, following the Week 3 shifts, employees have an extended period away from work before returning to Week 1 of the rotation. This means the schedule naturally provides a full week off between rotations, while still maintaining full-time employment and earnings.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Gort, Co. Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern healthcare technology manufacturing environment where your work directly contributes to products that improve patients' lives around the world.

In this hands‑on role, you will operate CNC and automated manufacturing equipment, assemble products, carry out routine machine checks, and support the production of high‑quality medical technology products.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC and automated machinery to manufacture components, sub‑assemblies, and finished products.
• Complete production, assembly, packaging, and material‑handling activities in line with established procedures.
• Perform routine machine checks, basic maintenance, and minor machine adjustments to support efficient production.
• Follow quality, safety, and documentation requirements to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.
• Troubleshoot routine production issues and *escalate* concerns when required.
• Work closely with colleagues across production and support functions to achieve operational targets.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality, safety, continuous improvement, and patient care.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous manufacturing or production experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in producing quality work.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' experience operating CNC or automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience carrying out basic machine maintenance and adjustments.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Comfortable working a rotating day and night shift roster.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds (11kg).
