Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a collaborative Product Manager to support the strategic management of European fund ranges and ensure funds remain fit for purpose while aligning with regulatory requirements and customer needs. You’ll work across Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Operations to deliver positive outcomes for the business and its customers.

You will manage end-to-end lifecycle activities, coordinate projects, and review regulatory developments to inform product strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in product strategy, development and lifecycle management within the asset management industry.
• Knowledge of launching, registering, operating and amending pooled investment funds across relevant jurisdictions.
• Good understanding of pooled product structures, including UCITS and non-UCITS funds.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to product governance and European fund ranges.
• Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Attention to detail and a drive to improve processes and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end lifecycle management of European funds, including launches, amendments, mergers and closures.
• Coordinate product projects, milestones, deliverables, working groups, testing, risks and issues.
• Ensure fund documentation remains aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct product, fund and thematic reviews to assess customer outcomes and risks.
• Provide technical product support across regulation, tax, registrations and disclosures.
• Collaborate with operations and service providers to deliver product activities.
• Review market and regulatory developments to inform strategy and proposition design.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, fund boards and external partners.
