Job summary

Legal & General (L&G) seeks a Fund Finance Senior Analyst to join our Asset Management Fund Control Public Markets team. In this hands‑on oversight role, you’ll support fund finance, expense management and management company activities across a broad range of fund structures.

You’ll work with financial data, internal stakeholders and third‑party service providers, helping to deliver accurate reporting, effective controls and continuous improvements across the fund finance lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Three years’ relevant funds industry experience (fund administration/accounting/finance).
• Practical experience of fund expenses, budgets, invoice processing, accruals and allocations.
• Experience working with third‑party or delegated service providers.
• Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills, with ability to identify variances and resolve exceptions.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with ability to engage stakeholders.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and proactive with multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, UK/Irish/Luxembourg fund structures is advantageous.
• Experience or familiarity with Kneip Dataglide or similar tools would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund finance, expense management and reporting lifecycle.
• Review budgets, expense accruals, capped expense arrangements, invoices and allocations.
• Serve as a key contact for invoice processing queries and fund expense matters.
• Oversee third‑party service providers and follow up on outputs or issues.
• Analyze fund expense trends, variances, caps and payment issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with financial reporting, compliance, legal, senior management and service providers.
• Maintain accurate, timely outputs and escalate issues as needed.
