Job summary

Smartbox is seeking a Product Manager to own the end-to-end shopping experience on our platform, including discovery, search, browsing, and the gifting journey. You will set a clear vision, roadmaps, and embed AI-driven innovation with engineering, design, data and commercial teams.

You will partner with eCommerce, marketing, data science and technology to balance customer experience with commercial impact, while leading cross-functional execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in ecommerce or transactional platforms.
• Track record of shipping customer-facing features with measurable commercial impact.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms.
• Experience in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and data querying.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for the shopping journey (search, browse, discovery, filtering, recommendations).
• Embed AI capabilities across the platform (personalisation, smart search, content generation).
• Lead ongoing customer research and data analysis to surface problems worth solving.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch and post-launch measurement.
• Build a rigorous testing culture with hypotheses, experiments, and interpretation of results.
• Collaborate with eCommerce, marketing, category management, data science and tech teams.
• Define KPIs and report progress up to leadership.
