What you'll do
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and marketing teams to define product specifications and ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable tasks for the development team.
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to inform future iterations and improvements.
- Facilitate regular product reviews and updates with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on progress.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, providing insights and updates to both internal teams and external partners.
- Create detailed documentation for product features, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes.
- Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the product lifecycle, advocating for user needs and preferences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Smartbox remains at the forefront of the gifting market.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging experimentation and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in the e-commerce or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products from conception to market.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in managing product backlogs.
- Proficiency in using product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

- Experience in the gifting, travel, or hospitality industries.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and other user research methodologies.
