About the Role
MCO offers a comprehensive suite of Risk and Compliance products covering the full spectrum of compliance requirements, primarily targeted at Financial Services. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Management leader to take shared ownership of our Core Platform, which underpins all MCO products and capabilities.
This is a senior strategic role within the Product organization, responsible for driving the long-term platform vision, defining and executing the product strategy, and ensuring technical coherence across the entire MCO solution suite. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technical product management within a SaaS environment, including data models, integrations, APIs, and strong awareness of end-to-end user experience and UI workflows, and thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
Acting as a key partner to the Chief Product Officer, this role leads a team of Product Owners and works closely with Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Customer Success, and other Product teams to deliver a scalable, secure, and innovative Core Platform. The role covers the full spectrum of product management responsibilities, from defining strategy and roadmap to ensuring high-quality delivery, while fostering a high-performing team culture and driving alignment across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Define and own the long-term strategy and roadmap for MCO’s Core Platform, ensuring strategic alignment with company vision and growth objectives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather regulatory needs, market expectations, business needs, feedback, and insights.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap, and ensure roadmap is aligned with company strategy, market needs, and customer requirements.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and regulatory changes to shape future platform direction.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage deeply with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, customer success, implementation, and other product managers, to gather insights and validate platform needs.
- Maintain a clear understanding of customer needs, compliance requirements, and the demands of enterprise SaaS environments
- Support customer conversations when needed to validate platform assumptions or gather deeper context and focus on internal alignment and cross-product coordination.
- Represent the platform strategy in customer interactions, executive discussions, and industry forums as required.
- Leadership, Team Development & Cross-Functional Influence:
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, ensuring high performance, accountability, and alignment with company strategy.
- Act as the primary point of leadership for the Core Platform across engineering, architecture, customer success, sales, marketing, and senior management.
- Establish regular and reliable communications to senior management and other stakeholders on the status of your product, issues, and medium- and longer-term plans for your product.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Drive collaboration across teams to ensure smooth alignment between platform foundations and product-specific initiatives.
- Execution & Delivery Excellence:
- Ensure product requirements are well-defined, technically robust, and clearly communicated to Engineering, Architecture, QA, and other delivery teams.
- Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned with agreed-upon strategic initiatives.
- Review technical design documents, feature specifications, and architecture proposals to ensure platform integrity and scalability.
- Oversee project execution for platform initiatives, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and cross-team dependencies are managed effectively.
- Technical, Compliance and Security Oversight:
- Ensure the platform supports scalability, configurability, data integrity, and high reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to influence data models, integrations, APIs, and system-level design decisions.
- Ensure that all product development activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain robust security practices to protect sensitive data and maintain platform integrity.
Experiences and Skills
- Experience:
- At least 15 years of progressive experience, with strong product management leadership and responsibility for complex SaaS platforms.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise B2B products end-to-end.
- Strong background in technical product management: data models, APIs, integrations, data feeds, multi-tenant architectures, and core SaaS platform components.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing product teams.
- Prior experience in financial services, RegTech, GRC, or compliance preferred.
- Proven ability to define and execute long-term product strategies and cross-portfolio roadmaps.
- Skills:
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal. Ability to tailor communication style and content to different audiences – management, sales, customers.
- Strong active-listening abilities to uncover underlying business needs and translate them into innovative solutions.
- Strong technical understanding, and the ability to make technical concepts understandable to a non-technical audience.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
