Job summary

TEKsystems in Cork is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Project Manager for a 12-month rolling PAYE contract. The role is hybrid with three days onsite at Hollyhill, Cork, and involves leading regulatory initiatives across EMEIA, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering programs on time and within scope.

You will partner with Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to govern projects, build plans and dashboards, and report to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of project or programme management experience in a regulated environment.
  • Experience delivering complex programmes across multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, audit, or governance processes.

Responsibilities

Job Description

This role focuses on leading strategic regulatory compliance initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA). You will manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate cross-functional regulatory programmes, and ensure timely execution of initiatives that support business growth while maintaining strict adherence to evolving regional regulatory requirements. Working closely with regulatory subject matter experts, you will provide governance, reporting, and operational support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both business and compliance objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of regulatory compliance projects across EMEIA markets, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource forecasts, to support effective programme delivery.
  • Drive project governance processes, including regular status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and updates for senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Track project progress against agreed plans, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and define mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on schedule.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to support key compliance initiatives and programmes.
  • Coordinate activities related to changing regulatory requirements across EMEIA, including ongoing regulatory analysis, compliance verification, documentation management, and audit readiness.
  • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of compliance frameworks, processes, tools, and controls that strengthen regulatory oversight.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between regional regulatory teams and global business partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and governance reviews to drive decision-making and resolve issues.
  • Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple countries, functions, and organisational levels to support successful delivery.
  • Develop project dashboards and reporting tools to monitor the performance of the regulatory project portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management methodologies and compliance processes, and support the implementation of enhancements.
  • Manage tracking systems and databases used for regulatory programmes and regional initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support the adoption of new tools, technologies, and operational best practices across the regulatory organisation.
  • Maintain project risk registers, lead mitigation planning, and ensure risks are actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate audit preparation activities, including gathering evidence and documentation, and support the resolution of compliance findings.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Monitor regulatory developments across EMEIA and assess potential impacts on business operations, escalating and advising as appropriate.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of project or programme management experience within a regulated environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects across multiple countries and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory, audit, or governance processes within regulated industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and commonly used project management and reporting tools.
  • Strong project management and PMO skills, including planning, governance, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations.

  • Strong general communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or an equivalent qualification.
  • experience supporting regulatory compliance programmes within technology, consumer electronics, medical devices, telecommunications, or manufacturing industries.
  • experience using Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project reporting and portfolio management tools.
  • Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks and EMEIA market requirements.
