Job summary

CarGurus in Dublin is seeking a Product Data Analyst to lead local analytics for our Dublin tech office. You will shape international data strategy and drive growth across global marketplaces, using SQL, Python and Looker in a fast-paced two-sided marketplace.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering and Data teams, build scalable data assets, and communicate insights to senior leadership while embracing a hybrid work model in Dublin, Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2+ years in analytics or related field.
• Strong SQL fluency and experience with Python or R.
• Experience in quantitative analysis and data modeling.
• Familiarity with modern tooling such as Looker, dbt, Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL and Python across multiple data sources to quantify product performance and user behavior.
• Define metrics and automate dashboards to guide executive decision-making.
• Lead A/B testing and experimentation with guidance on tracking requirements and statistical significance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize architecture and logging; build automated data transformations.
• Translate findings into clear insights for senior leadership and defend data-driven proposals.
