Job summary

Kraken is seeking a senior Data Analyst, Product to turn complex data into actionable insights that improve user experience and inform product decisions. You’ll own end-to-end data management, from pipelines to dashboards and north star metrics, for the Pro product team.

You will drive A/B testing, causal inference, and data-driven storytelling for senior leadership, while embedding AI tooling and advancing data quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering, ideally within fintech, payments, financial market or crypto where data quality and scale are non-negotiable.
• Hands-on experience with advanced trading products and solutions in equities, crypto, or other assets; background in financial markets or trading desk preferred.
• Proven ability to build and own production data pipelines using dbt and orchestration tools (Airflow or equivalent).
• Strong SQL mastery with complex joins, CTEs and analytics functions; proficient Python for pipelines and analysis.
• Experience designing and running A/B tests and applying causal inference to drive growth recommendations.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional data initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Degree in analytical rigorous field (software engineering, economics, hard science).
• Based in Canada, the US, the UK or the EU; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a full-stack data analyst within the Pro team.
• Own the design and evolution of dashboards, north star metrics and analytical frameworks.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure at scale, from dbt models to full-funnel reporting.
• Lead experimentation across the Product domain with A/B testing and causal inference.
• Influence technical direction across the data team and raise the bar on data quality.
• Embed AI tooling into workflows, including LLM-augmented pipelines and GenAI analytics.
• Deliver insights through clear data-driven storytelling to leadership.
