Amicus Search & Recruitment represents a leading Irish commercial law firm seeking a procurement lawyer with strong Irish and EU procurement experience. The role offers ownership of high-value public projects and direct exposure to partners driving them.
You will design procurement processes from the ground up, including documentation, evaluation methodologies, clarifications, debriefs and contract modifications.
Procurement lawyers rarely get to work on both the advisory and the disputes side of a matter. This role offers both. Our client, one of Ireland’s leading full-service commercial law firms, is growing its Projects, Infrastructure & Energy group. It is looking for a procurement lawyer who wants real ownership of high-value public projects and a direct line to the partners leading them.
The team acts for public bodies, utilities and local authorities, and for private bidders, on major energy, housing, transport and health projects. You’ll design procurement processes from the ground up: documentation, evaluation methodologies, clarifications, debriefs and contract modifications. You’ll also run procurement challenges before the Irish courts and advise on the Foreign Subsidies Regulation, which is still a new area. In a team this size, you won’t be pigeonholed. Client training and business development are part of the role from day one, which matters if you’re building towards the next step.
We are looking for an Irish qualified solicitor with solid experience of Irish and EU procurement law, gained in private practice, in-house at a public body or utility, or within a projects or construction team. Strong drafting and sound commercial judgement matter more here than ticking every box.
