College Group is seeking a Process Operator for our Rendering Plant in Nobber. The role involves operating the PLC system to control production, gathering data, and ensuring KPI targets are met. Shifts include days and nights with weekend work, contributing to a safe and compliant production environment.

The successful candidate will have strong organization, excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to coordinate with the production team and QA lab.

Responsibilities

• Operate the production PLC system to control production, gather data and generate reports
• Identify and report any problems to the production supervisor
• Achieve process capacity and KPIs
• Hand-over of key information at shift transitions
• Sample and deliver products to the lab for QC
• Perform general facility maintenance and house-keeping including equipment inspection and preventative maintenance
• Follow all safety guidelines and rules on-site regulated by the HSA and other regulatory authorities

College Group was founded in 1989 and currently operates from three state-of-the-art sites; Nobber in Meath, Monnery in Cavan and Newry in Down.

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Process Operator to join the Production Team in our Rendering Plant based in Nobber. This position will be an integral part of our operation and will work to maximize efficiency and support delivery of key performance indicators. The role will operate on an 8 hour shift pattern rostered over days and nights which will include weekends.
