Job summary

Beauparc in Navan, Meath, is seeking a Process Operator to safely operate and monitor processing plant equipment. You will perform inspections, assist with routine maintenance, and support other teams to keep the site safe and productive.

The role requires a practical, safety-conscious mindset, good numeracy and strong communication to work with supervisors and colleagues in a busy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Good mechanical awareness with basic hand tools.
• Previous experience in a plant/manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Technical or apprenticeship training would be advantageous.
• Ability to read and follow operating procedures and safety instructions.
• Good communication and ability to work with supervisors and colleagues.
• Basic numeracy and accurate record-keeping on operating data.
• Practical, responsible approach to problem-solving.
• The confidence to act safely in unusual or emergency situations.
• CSCS plant tickets would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete routine equipment inspections and record operating information.
• Report accidents, equipment damage and performance concerns.
• Take appropriate action during abnormal or emergency conditions.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist maintenance team with equipment repairs as required.
• Support other operational and maintenance teams across the site.
• Carry out cleaning, painting and general site housekeeping duties.
• Follow all company procedures, instructions and safety policies.
• Work additional hours or overtime during breakdowns or major maintenance.
