Job summary

Mason Alexander is recruiting on behalf of a leading investment firm to hire an Investment Associate to join their Private Credit team in Ireland.

You will monitor portfolio performance, analyse investments, build financial models and present quarterly reviews to Investment Committees. A background of 5-8 years in investment banking, private equity, or related fields is expected; ACA or CFA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience (e.g., investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, deals, M&A, private equity, transaction services, restructuring or financial services audit).
• Excellent academic background.
• ACA or CFA qualified, not essential but preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial statements and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring of corporate portfolio trading performance through detailed financial statements analysis & dialogue with the company.
• Investment analysis of their portfolio.
• Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis.
• Preparation of quarterly reviews and presentation to Investment Committees.
