Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–6 years relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, deals, M&A, or related fields.
• Excellent academic background.
• ACA or CFA qualification preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and a deep understanding of financial statements and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio trading performance through financial statement analysis and company dialogue.
• Conduct investment analysis of the private credit portfolio.
• Build financial models and conduct sensitivity analyses.
• Prepare quarterly reviews and present to Investment Committees.

Our client is one of the world’s largest and most successful investment firms with a 40+ year track record of investment excellence and they are currently looking to hire and Investment Analyst to join their team. This position will sit on their Private Credit team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring of corporate portfolio trading performance through detailed financial statements analysis & dialogue with the company
• Investment analysis of their portfolio
• Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Preparation of quarterly reviews and presentation to Investment Committees

The key attributes required from successful candidates are:

• 3-6 years relevant experience (i.e. investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, deals, M&A, private equity, transaction services, restructuring or financial services audit)
• Excellent academic background
• ACA or CFA qualified, not essential but preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and a deep understanding of financial statements / financial modelling
