Job summary

TELUS Digital in Cork is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our new team. You will assist customers via chat, email, SMS and phone, troubleshoot issues, and explain privacy concepts in plain language. This is a permanent on-site role with a competitive package and career growth opportunities.

You will work shifts from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Monday through Sunday, with a performance-based bonus up to 10% and a shift premium for late hours.

Qualifications

• C1/C2 level of English (written and spoken).
• Experience in a customer support or customer-facing role is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills; handling sensitive privacy data.
• Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills.
• Call centre experience is advantageous.
• Ability to learn new tools, systems and workflows quickly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot account, billing, login, subscription and product issues.
• Handle customer inquiries across chat, email, SMS and phone channels.
• Explain privacy and security concepts in clear language to customers.
• Escalate complex cases to specialist teams as required.
• Document customer interactions thoroughly and maintain high-quality ticket notes.
• Follow internal workflows, SOPs, and escalation processes accurately.
• Meet established performance expectations for quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experience.
• Stay updated on product changes, workflows, and support processes.
• Handle sensitive customer information with professionalism and care.
