Job summary

TELUS Digital in Cork is expanding with a permanent Customer Support Specialist role based onsite at Mahon. You will assist customers via chat, email, SMS and phone, troubleshoot account, billing and product issues, and explain privacy concepts in simple language.

The ideal candidate has C1/C2 English, prior customer support experience, strong attention to detail and organization, and a keen interest in privacy, cybersecurity, and online safety.

Qualifications

• C1/C2 level English (written and spoken).
• Experience in customer support or customer facing role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, especially with sensitive privacy data.
• Ability to learn new tools, systems and workflows quickly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot account, billing, login, subscription and product issues.
• Handle inquiries across chat, email, SMS and phone channels.
• Explain privacy and security concepts to customers in simple language.
• Escalate complex cases to specialist teams as required.
• Document customer interactions thoroughly and maintain high quality ticket notes.
• Follow internal workflows, SOPs and escalation processes accurately.
• Meet performance expectations for quality, responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experience.
• Stay updated on product changes, workflows and support processes.
