Job summary

TELUS Digital in Cork is launching an exciting Customer Support Specialist role in our Cork office, working onsite in Mahon. You will support customers via chat, email, SMS and phone, troubleshoot issues, explain privacy concepts clearly, and contribute to a safer online experience.

We offer a performance-based bonus up to 10%, shift premium for late hours (10pm–1am), and strong career progression in a multicultural, modern office with gym, parking and private medical insurance after six months.

Qualifications

• C1/C2 level of English (written and spoken).
• Experience working in a customer support/customer facing role is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills; handling sensitive privacy data is a plus.
• Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills.
• Prior experience in a call centre environment is advantageous.
• Ability to learn new tools, systems, and workflows quickly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot account, billing, login, subscription and product related issues.
• Handle customer inquiries across multiple channels: chat, email, SMS, and phone channels.
• Explain privacy and security concepts to customers in simple language.
• Escalate complex cases to specialist teams as required.
• Document customer interactions thoroughly and maintain high quality ticket notes.
• Follow internal workflows, SOPs, and escalation processes accurately.
• Meet established performance expectations including quality, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experience.
• Stay updated on product changes, workflows, and support processes.
