Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair printers and multifunction devices across the organisation. You will ensure reliable print services, troubleshoot complex issues, and support print-related projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, work with vendors for hardware and consumables, and adapt to evolving technologies and environments while maintaining security and best practices in managed print services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in printer maintenance and support.
• Hands-on experience with major brands (HP, Sharp, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh).
• Strong knowledge of printer hardware and firmware.
• Familiarity with network printing protocols (IPP, LPD, SMB).
• Basic understanding of Windows Print Server.
• Experience with secure print solutions and managed print services (e.g. Kofax Safecom, Papercut).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair printers and multifunction devices across the organisation.
• Configure and support print solutions and network printing.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Mentor junior field service engineers and share knowledge.
• Liaise with vendors for hardware and consumables.
• Adapt to changing technologies and environments.
