Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Principal Engineer for Design Verification Engineering to lead mixed-signal power controller verification from architecture to silicon bring-up.

The role requires deep expertise in SystemVerilog/UVM, constrained-random verification, and advanced bluff-proof methodologies, with a focus on coverage-driven sign-off. Extensive collaboration with analog/digital teams and global engineers is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science plus 12+ years in IC design verification.
• Proven leadership in verification for multiple ICs from concept to tape-out.
• Experience with sign-off practices (coverage, LINT, CDC/RDC, formal) and with debugging complex failures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for design verification of mixed-signal power controllers from architecture through silicon bring-up.
• Own and maintain end-to-end verification plans with test strategy, stimulus, checkers, and sign-off criteria.
• Develop and review SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and drive coverage closure for tape-out readiness.
