Job summary

Egis is seeking a skilled Principal/Associate Civil Engineer to lead wastewater infrastructure projects for public sector clients in Ireland. The role combines technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities, driving delivery from concept through commissioning in a hybrid Dublin/Cork/Limerick/Castlebar setting.

You will mentor teams, ensure quality designs, manage budgets, and contribute to Egis Water’s growth while delivering critical national wastewater projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8) or higher.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design and delivery of wastewater treatment and collection projects.
Manage projects through all stages from feasibility to commissioning.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project risk and budget.
Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships.
Provide technical oversight and QA for wastewater projects.
Mentor engineers and support business development.
