Primary Care Sales Representative
GP Syndicate Team

About the Role

Force Recruitment is seeking a Primary Care Sales Representative to join our GP Syndicate team, promoting products to General Practitioners (GPs) across South Leinster.

As part of our GP Syndicate model, you'll represent a small portfolio of non-competing brands on behalf of our pharmaceutical partners, giving you variety in your role, the backing of an experienced team, and access to long-established relationships with GPs across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve territory market share and sales forecasts.
• Develop, agree, and implement a territory business plan based on thorough analysis, with clear and measurable coverage, frequency, and activity objectives to drive results.
• Identify and develop new customers and customer groups that are important to business performance.
• Take ownership of customer service standards, consistently delivering against agreed objectives and activities.
• Maintain and share up-to-date knowledge of the relevant therapy area, company products, and competitor activity.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork at all times - sharing best practice with colleagues and contributing to promotional action plans.
• Report on all business activity, including customer information and call data, within company formats and timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with local and company processes, codes of practice, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Criteria

• A proven, successful track record in sales.
• Strong account planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing/persuasion skills.
• A "can do" attitude - able to work equally well independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrable networking within Primary Care and a sound understanding of the Irish primary care environment.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical/ healthcare sales.
• Life sciences, pharmacy, or related third-level qualification.
• Full clean driving licence.
