BMS Performance Ireland is seeking a Product Specialist for hospitals across Leinster, with a focus on Dublin. You will promote and support a critical care portfolio, engaging clinicians, procurement teams and hospital decision-makers.
You will manage and grow existing accounts, identify new opportunities, deliver clinical education and contribute to a consultative, relationship-driven sales approach in both public and private sectors.
Our client is a global leader in the medical devices sector with over a century of history and a dominant presence across the Irish healthcare market. With a portfolio of market-leading international brands, a strong reputation for innovation and a structured approach to onboarding and development, this is a business that genuinely invests in its people and offers clear pathways for progression both commercially and into specialist or leadership roles.
This is a Product Specialist position covering hospitals across Leinster, with a bulk of business in Dublin, with a preference for candidates based in Dublin/surrounding areas. You will be responsible for promoting and supporting a critical care portfolio including equipment and associated consumables, working closely with clinical and procurement stakeholders across both public and private hospitals.
Day-to-day, you will be managing and growing existing hospital accounts, identifying new opportunities, delivering clinical education, and engaging with consultants, nurses, clinical specialists, procurement teams and hospital management. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role with a strong emphasis on clinical credibility and education — you will need to be as comfortable presenting to a consultant as you are supporting a product evaluation on the ward.
We are ideally looking for established medical sales professionals for this role. Candidates from a medical sales background should have a proven track record selling into hospitals or secondary care in Ireland, ideally with exposure to critical care and acute care products. If you have sold other medical devices/equipment/consumables to hospitals, please apply as you may be considered.
Regardless of background, you should be driven, clinically credible and relationship-focused, with strong communication and presentation skills and the confidence to engage at all levels within a hospital environment. Candidates should be based in Leinster. A full, clean Irish driving licence is required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global market leader with a strong Irish presence, a market-leading critical care portfolio and a genuine commitment to the development and progression of its commercial team.
