Job summary

Mount Juliet Estate is seeking a Full-Time Bartender for The Manor, a luxury setting within our newly renovated space. You will craft cocktails, greet guests, and ensure excellent beverage service while maintaining a pristine bar.

Ideal candidates bring experience in high-end hospitality, strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, and excellent cash handling. Weekend and holiday availability, with competitive pay and benefits, is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available Full-Time.
• Experience in a similar role in a high-end hotel/restaurant preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate desirable.
• Accurate and efficient cash handling.
• Proven bartender experience in hospitality.
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, wine and beer.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
• Greet guests professionally and take orders for cocktails, mocktails and beverages.
• Prepare cocktails and beverage service efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Ensure beverages served at correct temperature and glassware.
• Upsell beverages based on guests' preferences and offerings.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with staff for a seamless guest experience.
• Know the menu and answer guest questions about food and drinks.
• Assist with front-of-house and guest areas upkeep.
• Report guest complaints to management promptly.
