Job summary

H & D MEATS Ltd T/A Robinson Meats in Ireland is seeking a Meat Processing Operative to join our production team. You will operate and monitor meat processing machinery, set up the production line, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

Hours are 39 per week. This role requires strict hygiene practices, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience is beneficial.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor meat processing and production machinery.
• Prepare and set up the production line, ensuring equipment and meat products are ready for processing.
• Carry out meat processing and preparation activities using appropriate machinery and equipment.
• Handle and package processed meat products for storage and distribution.
• Perform pre-start, hygiene and safety checks on machinery and production equipment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in processing areas.
• Identify and report equipment faults or production issues to the Line Supervisor.
