Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our Power & Renewables business across Europe. You will identify opportunities, build influential relationships with customers and stakeholders, and position Kirby to win major engineering and construction projects.

You will work with operational, estimating and pre-construction teams to shape bids, manage a robust pipeline, and lead strategic market engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development for engineering/construction sectors.
• Experience selling into energy/power/renewables markets.
• Strong network with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with client-focused solutions.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities across Europe in Power & Renewables.
• Develop relationships with end clients, developers and contractors.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and forecast activity.
• Collaborate with marketing, pre-construction and bid teams.
• Position Kirby to win through market intelligence and value propositions.
• Support bid teams through tender processes.
• Represent Kirby at industry events and customer meetings.
