Job summary

Enexa Partners is seeking an Operations Engineer for a power/ heavy industrial plant in Edenderry, Co. Offaly.

The role focuses on the operation and monitoring of electricity generating assets, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and performance targets on a rotating shift basis. The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree, have 4–5 years of industry experience, and possess High Voltage safety training.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• 4/5 years of industry experience.
• HV safety training and experience with permit systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor thermal generating assets to optimise availability and efficiency while ensuring IPPC compliance.
• Lead and manage a shift team of operation technicians and coordinate with plant teams.
• Manage access, safety and emergency response; ensure safe maintenance during outages.
