Job summary

The Maintenance & Engineering Manager role at a power station in the West of Ireland, as part of Cpl Group, leads maintenance and engineering operations to ensure reliability, asset integrity and safety performance. Reporting to Generation leadership, you will drive continuous improvement and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience within power generation, utilities, process, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management, asset integrity, and health & safety standards.
• Excellent people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Desirable: Management qualification and knowledge of PSSR and Process Safety Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance and engineering activities across the site.
• Maximise plant reliability, availability, and performance.
• Manage outages, maintenance programmes, and engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Manage contractors, service agreements, and maintenance budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement and asset management strategies.
