Job summary

Veolia Energy Services Ireland Limited in Clondalkin, Dublin, is seeking an Electrical Shift Technician to operate across HV and LV systems, turbines, boilers, and diesel generators. Qualifications

• Analytical mindset required.
• Experience with six sigma/lean preferred.
• Past experience ideally gained in energy conversion and distribution.
• Craft qualified electrician (required or preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day work with on-site shift technicians, especially morning shift changeover.
• Be the point of contact for service providers and perform high-level fault investigations.
• Record and investigate deviations on utility plant and equipment per quality procedures.
• Carry out planned preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance; ensure PMs are completed on time.
• Develop PMs, job plans and SOPs for plant equipment; liaise with stores to identify spare parts.
• Review maintenance programmes periodically to ensure optimal uptime.
• Support safety procedures and provide leadership to the team in resolving complex plant deviations.
• Assist Site and HV Engineers in root cause analysis and project handovers.
