Job summary

Qualcomm Ireland is seeking a PDN/EMIR Engineer to perform advanced power integrity analyses across high-performance ASICs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PDN closure and sign-off for complex cores and full-chip SOCs.

The role involves developing new PDN techniques, optimizing power integrity, and supporting design and STA activities for Vmin targets. A strong scripting background and experience with PDN tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years ASIC design/validation experience.
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years ASIC experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years ASIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform PDN checks including IR-drop, ESD, and electromigration for complex cores and SOCs.
• Develop new PDN analysis techniques and sign-off methods.
• Collaborate with design teams on PDN sign-off for Vmin and power integrity.
• Support PDN optimization with Physical Design and STA teams.
