Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Wireless Communications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong fundamentals in statistical signal processing with background in radar or RF sensing.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and software-defined radios.
- Familiarity with mathematical modelling tools such as C++, Python, MATLAB, Julia.
- Good publication record in IEEE or ACM journals and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Develop beamforming and direction-finding solutions for multi-antenna systems.
- Develop sensing waveforms and receiver processing for UAV operation.
- Implement and validate algorithms using C++, Python, MATLAB and Julia.
- Deploy solutions on configurable hardware and validate in field trials.
- Disseminate research through publications and conferences.
- Co-supervise postgraduate students and participate in outreach activities.
