Job summary

Trócaire is seeking an experienced educator to lead the delivery of development education programmes in the post-primary sector. You will design and deliver workshops with young people and educators, and network to promote the programmes while maintaining quality and innovation.

The role requires a post-primary teaching qualification and at least two years’ experience in the Irish education system. Some travel across Ireland and a collaborative, team-based approach are essential.

Qualifications

• A post-primary teaching qualification is required.
• Minimum two years experience in the Irish post-primary education system.
• Experience with development education/global citizenship education and Canva desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workshops with young people and educators.
• Network widely to promote the programmes and maintain quality and innovation.
• Collaborate with the team and travel across Ireland.
