Job summary

Trócaire is seeking an experienced educator to lead the delivery of development education programmes in the post-primary sector. You will design and deliver workshops with young people and educators, and network to promote the programmes while maintaining quality and innovation.

The role requires a post-primary teaching qualification and at least two years’ experience in the Irish education system. Some travel across Ireland and a collaborative, team-based approach are essential.

  • Experience with development education/global citizenship education and Canva desirable.

Role Requirements

The role requires a post primary teaching qualification and a minimum of two years experience of working in the Irish post primary education system. You will be delivering workshops with young people and educators, and networking widely to promote the programmes and maintain quality and innovation.The role requires flexibility and openness to travelling across Ireland, an ability to prioritise and manage your own time and a collaborative approach to team work. Experience of development education/global citizenship education and working with digital design tools such as Canva is desirable.
