Job summary

MCS Group is seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to support a major Payments Transformation Programme in Dublin City Centre with a hybrid working model. This 6-month day-rate contract offers exposure to a high-profile, regulated financial services programme.

The right candidate will drive PMO governance, produce governance updates and dashboards, manage RAID logs, support planning and budgeting, and coordinate with Project Managers and stakeholders across Agile and Waterfall workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven PMO consultant experience in enterprise transformation programmes.
• Payments and Banking domain experience is essential.
• Strong governance, reporting and portfolio management skills.
• Experience with Clarity PPM, QlikView, Coupa and Power BI.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments is desirable.

I'm working exclusively with a leading financial services organisation that's looking to appoint an experienced PMO Consultant to support the delivery of a major Payments Transformation Programme.

This is an initial 6-month day rate contract, based in Dublin City Centre with a hybrid working model, offering the opportunity to join a high-profile programme with strong extension potential.

The Role

• Drive PMO governance across a large-scale transformation programme

• Produce programme reporting, dashboards and executive updates

• Manage RAID logs, actions, dependencies and programme documentation

• Support planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking

• Ensure projects adhere to governance standards and delivery milestones

• Work closely with Project Managers, delivery teams and senior business stakeholders

• Support delivery across both Agile and Waterfall workstreams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PMO Consultant within enterprise transformation programmes

• Payments and Banking experience is essential

• Strong programme governance, reporting and portfolio management experience

• Experience with Clarity (PPM), QlikView, Coupa and Power BI

• Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Previous experience working within regulated financial services environments is highly desirable
