Job summary

Our client Seán & Justin Murphy Limited t/a Murlock Construction, based in Rathangan, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Plant Mechanics for immediate start at their Rathangan facility. Qualifications: 2-3 years’ Plant Mechanic experience required. Mechanic Certification preferred but not essential.

There are no minimum academic requirements. Further training will be provided on-the-job as required. Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay Rate €18.05 per hour.

Responsibilities

• To maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service machinery used in plant hire and construction.
• To ensure plant machinery operates safely, with minimal downtime and productive output.
• To perform regular maintenance checks and preventative tasks on plant equipment.
• To diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and repair parts as needed.
• To document maintenance and inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
