Job summary

Vickerstock is partnering with a major Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Planner for their North Dublin team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes, critical path analysis, and project execution plans.

You will work closely with site management to integrate subcontractor schedules, produce progress reports, and support planning with robust technical guidance on planning systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction planning is required.
• Relevant professional qualification in engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of planning and programming in construction.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-tender, tender and post-tender planning documentation.
• Develop detailed programmes including critical path and execution plans.
• Produce flow charts, labour histograms and planning docs.
• Collaborate with site management to maintain project programmes.
• Provide regular progress reports and look-ahead programmes.
• Review subcontractor programmes and integrate into overall plan.
• Support project teams with planning requirements and guidance.
• Provide technical support on planning systems and software.

.Planner - North Dublin

Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with a major Tier 1 contractor that work across commercial, residential, data centres, healthcare, life sciences, etc. They are recruiting for an experienced Planner to join their team in North Dublin.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing pre-tender, tender and post-tender planning documentation
• Developing detailed construction programmes, including critical path programmes and project execution plans
• Preparing flow charts, labour histograms and other planning documentation
• Working closely with site management teams to develop and maintain contract programmes
• Producing regular progress reports, programme updates and analysis
• Preparing site target and look-ahead programmes
• Reviewing subcontractor programmes and ensuring they are effectively integrated into the overall construction programme
• Supporting project teams with planning and programming requirements
• Providing technical support and guidance on planning systems and software

What you will need

• 3+ years' experience in a construction planning role
• Relevant professional qualification, ideally in Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of construction planning and programming
• Experience using planning software, with Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject highly desirable
