We have exciting opportunities for a number of Pipe Pressure Testers to join Suir Engineering Ltd. These positions will be for a semi-conductor project based in Leixlip Co. Kildare.

What you will be doing?
- Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on small and large-bore process pipework and tubing.
- Prepare pipework systems for pressure testing, including checking test boundaries, valves, blinds, vents, drains and connections.
- Set up and operate hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, test packs and mechanical layout drawings.
- Monitor test pressures, test durations and pressure stability during testing.
- Identify and report leaks, pressure loss, defects or other issues during pressure testing.
- Safely depressurise, drain and reinstate systems following completion of testing.
- Complete pressure test records, test certificates, check sheets and associated documentation.
- Work closely with pipefitters, welders, supervisors, QA/QC personnel and other trades to ensure systems are ready for testing.
- Work within cleanroom environments while maintaining contamination control and housekeeping standards.
- Comply with Intel site procedures, permit-to-work systems, and all Health, Safety and Quality requirements.
- Ensure all pressure testing equipment is inspected and suitable for the test being undertaken.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager.
Is this job for me?
- Previous experience working as a Pipe Pressure Tester, Pressure Test Technician or equivalent role.
- Proven experience carrying out hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing.
- Experience testing small and large-bore process pipework and tubing.
- Good understanding of pressure testing procedures, test boundaries and associated safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, test packs and mechanical layout drawings.
- Experience setting up and operating pressure testing equipment, pumps and gauges.
- Ability to monitor, record and verify test pressures and results accurately.
- Experience identifying leaks, pressure loss and other issues during pressure testing.
- Experience working within cleanroom, semiconductor or pharmaceutical environments is desirable.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Quality and contamination control standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Good communication skills with a positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
