Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd. seeks skilled High Purity Fitters and Pipe Fitters for a semiconductor project in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. You will install high/low purity pipework, read P&IDs, and work in cleanroom environments, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualified fitters with experience in stainless steel piping and orbital welding are preferred. Opportunities for international assignments across Europe may be available.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter, Pipefitter, Plumber or equivalent recognised mechanical trade qualification.
  • Experience installing high purity and low purity process piping systems.
  • Experience working with stainless steel, PVC and CPVC pipework.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings and mechanical layout drawings.
  • Experience working within cleanroom, semiconductor or pharmaceutical environments is desirable.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Quality and contamination control standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install and fabricate high purity and low purity process pipework within semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
  • Measure, cut, bend and install stainless steel tubing and pipework.
  • Install PVC, CPVC and associated mechanical piping systems in accordance with project specifications.
  • Prepare stainless steel tubing for orbital welding, including facing, alignment and fit‑up.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings and mechanical layout drawings.
  • Install pipe supports, brackets, valves and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Work within cleanroom environments while maintaining contamination control and housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with Intel site procedures, permit‑to‑work systems, and all Health, Safety and Quality requirements.
  • Work closely with supervisors, welders, QA/QC personnel and other trades to deliver installations safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager.

We have exciting opportunities for a number of High Purity Fitters & Pipe Fitters to join Suir Engineering Ltd. These positions will be for a semi-conductor project based in Leixlip Co. Kildare.

What you will be doing?
