Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Pharmasource Hospital Technician to join the hospital team at Greenogue Office. The role involves looking after our hospital customers, keying orders, handling stock queries, managing shortages, and coordinating EAP programmes for manufacturers.

You will support cross-functional teams, including procurement and retail colleagues, and contribute to regulatory reporting and audits. A fixed-term contract of approximately 12 months is available.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive EMP product knowledge and understand all issues specific to EMP supply.
• Must have 3 years minimum experience in a customer service role in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Previous experience with SAP is essential.
• Flexibility to provide extra hours during busy periods.
• Good IT skills: MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review, monitor and suggest improvements on Pharmasource hospital processes and systems.
• Promote the Uniphar website to PS hospital customers to increase web usage for order placement.
• Support the PS Business Unit in working with manufacturers through Managed Access & Compassionate Use programmes.
• Contribute to the running of the Pharmasource Customer Service Team with strong time management and organisation.
• Provide support to the Commercial Manager and Key Account Managers to resolve customer queries.
• Ensure Pharmasource customer orders are managed within SLA.
• Liaise with other Uniphar departments to resolve issues and achieve results.
• Establish relationships with Pharmasource vendors; raise orders, monitor backorders and track shipments.
• Work with AP to manage vendor queries on price/quantity discrepancies.
• Assist in stock management to minimise OOS and reduce lead times.
• Engage with Key accounts during shortages and forecast demand.
• Attend National conferences to build sustainable relationships.
