Job summary

Clarity Recruitment requires a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician to join a busy, well-established pharmacy in Westport, Mayo. The role is permanent and full-time (40 hours per week) with Saturday work, no Sundays. You will be supported by pharmacists and technicians, using the MPS dispensing system.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Irish Pharmacy Technician experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Salary is competitive and based on experience.

• You must be a fully qualified pharmacy technician.
• Previous Irish Pharmacy Technician experience (at least 1 year) is favourable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparing, labeling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Manage prescription dosages, queries, phone calls and customer requests.
• Order and manage stock, including storage and expiry checks.
• Advise customers on over-the-counter products under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with claims processing and related paperwork.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join a busy, well-established pharmacy in Westport, Co. Mayo !

What you need to know:

This is a p ermanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) . You'll work every other Saturday, with no Sundays, late nights or Bank Holidays required. You'll be backed by an excellent support team of pharmacists and technicians, helping you cater to a steady flow of customers. MPS is the dispensing system used.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assisting the pharmacist with preparing, labelling and dispensing prescriptions
• Managing prescription dosages, queries, phone calls and customer requests
• Ordering and managing stock, including storage and expiry checks
• Advising customers on over-the-counter products, under pharmacist supervision
• Assisting with claims processing and related paperwork
• Excellent customer service
• Any other duties as required
