Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join a busy, well-established pharmacy in Westport, Co. Mayo. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week).

You will work every other Saturday with no Sundays, late nights or bank holidays. You’ll be supported by a team of pharmacists and technicians and use the MPS dispensing system to ensure accurate dispensing and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified pharmacy technician.
• Irish Pharmacy Technician experience (1 year) preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparing, labelling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Manage prescription dosages, queries, calls and customer requests.
• Order and manage stock, including storage and expiry checks.
• Advise customers on over-the-counter products under supervision.
• Assist with claims processing and related paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Carry out any other duties as required.
