Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a pharmacy in Coolock, Dublin 5. This is a permanent full-time role (40 hours) with no weekends, late nights, or bank holidays. You’ll work with a supportive team using the MPS dispensing system.

Key duties include assisting the Pharmacist, accurately dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, processing PCRS claims, stock control, and front-of-shop support. Ireland-based candidates with 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies in Ireland.
• At least 1 year Irish Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and also independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
• Provide information and advice to patients under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Process claims under the HSE reimbursement schemes (PCRS), ensuring timely and accurate submission.
• Maintain stock levels through ordering and inventory control, including checking expiry dates and ensuring proper storage.
• Answer phone calls and assist with patient and prescriber queries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements in the pharmacy.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
• Assist with front-of-shop tasks when required.
