Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the McCauley Enniscorthy team. This 24-hour (3-day) position includes supporting a busy dispensary under the supervision of the Pharmacist. The role involves accurate dispensing, stock management, blister packing, and processing claims.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome. Experience with McLernons MPS is a plus, and IPU Pharmacy Technician or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
