Job summary

Unipharmedtech in Enniscorthy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join McCauley Garahys Pharmacy on a 24-hour Specified Purpose contract. You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist to accurately prepare and dispense medicines, manage stock, and support dispensing operations.

New graduates are welcome, experience with McLernons MPS is a plus, and an IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our McCauley Garahys Pharmacy in Enniscorthy. This is a 24-hour Specified Purpose contract position.

The team currently comprises an Assistant Store Manager, Managing Pharmacist,1 Relief, and 3 Technicians.
