Job summary

McCauley Garahys Pharmacy in Enniscorthy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 24-hour Specified Purpose contract. The small team includes an Assistant Store Manager, Managing Pharmacist, one relief, and three technicians. You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome; IPU course or Higher Certificate is advantageous. McLernons MPS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous, but newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is advantageous.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an added benefit.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail when preparing medicines.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by store.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims for accuracy.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
