McCauley Enniscorthy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The role covers a 24-hour (3-day) specified purpose schedule in a busy dispensing environment, reporting to the Pharmacist and supporting stock control, order processing, and patient care.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome, with advantageous experience in McLernons MPS and a relevant IPU course or Higher Certificate. Competitive hourly rates and uniform provided in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is preferred; newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies preferred.

Responsabilités

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our McCauley Enniscorthy.

This is a 24-hour (3-day) specified purpose position.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 2 Support and 6 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.

The Responsibilities Of The Role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
