Job summary

Hickey's Pharmacy in Cork is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, permanent role working Monday to Friday. The Mayfield store team includes a Retail Store Manager, Managing Pharmacist, 1 Relief and 1 Technician.

You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision, manage stock, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. Newly qualified technicians welcome; McLernons MPS experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Newly qualified technicians welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process/tracking of claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
