Job summary

Hickey's Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a 32 hour permanent role. You will join a small team supporting the pharmacist with dispensing, stock control and accurate medicine preparation.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome, and experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage. McLernons MPS experience and an IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate are desirable. Competitive hourly rates and a uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
