Job summary

McCauley Tralee Pharmacy invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a 40-hour, 5-day permanent position in a busy dispensary environment.

You will assist in preparing and dispensing medicines under supervision, manage stock and blister packs, and support the Pharmacist to ensure excellent patient care. Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, and new technicians are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist
• Maintain accuracy with attention to detail
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required
• Prepare blister packs and process/tracking of claims
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary
