Job summary

Uniphar Group is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for Hickeys Monkstown pharmacy. This 32-hour, 4-day permanent position operates with store hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays; Sundays are closed.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock levels, and assist with blister packs, claims, and pharmacist support in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
