Hickey's Pharmacy in Clondalkin, Ireland, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, permanent role over five days. Join a small team and contribute to dispensing, stock control, blister packing, and claims processing under supervision.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome. Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous, as is the IPU course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous but open to newly qualified technicians.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by store needs.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Clondalkin

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.

The Responsibilities Of The Role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
